Production Log 5

What progress did you make since your previous entry?
Since my previous entry when I recorded  an interview with Professor Chris Griffiths a medical expert who works for Barts University and Asthma UK   I have completed interviewing  this week the  interview was all about  how asthmatics suffer from this respiratory disease and what are the causes and also what are the symptoms.  I also started to edit some of my footage on Final Cut Express on the Imac i also used Live Type for the graphics of the people that I have interviewed.


What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
The logistical challenges that I face this week was transferring the footage of the filming  that I am going to do the interview onto the Apple Imac and i also overcame this.  I also interviewed the Professor Chris Griffiths and also asked the general public on what they know about asthma, the logistical challenges that I have to face this week was finding out what time that he is free to have the interview as he is a very busy professional.


What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?
The technical challenges that I have faced this week was when interviewing the vox pops, when recording the interview the lighting wasn't clear to see when recording the interview with the general public on what their opionions are about asthma. 


What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?
The targets that I aim to archive before the next production log is to import the vox pop scenes onto the Final Cut Express onto the Imac and to get all of my graphics of the interviewees names from Live Type and also carry on editing the rest of my footage of all of my interviews.

Production Log 3

What progress did you make since your previous entry?
Since my previous entry when I recorded  an interview with Dave Bassi a medical expert who works for GlaxoSmithKline,   I have completed interviewing  this week the  interview was all about  how asthmatics suffer from this respiratory disease and what are the causes and also what are the symptoms. And I also started to edit some of my footage on Final Cut Express on the Imac i also used Live Type for the graphics of the people that I have interviewed.


What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
The logistical challenges that I face this week was transferring the footage of the expert that I am going to interview onto the Apple Imac and i also  overcame this i interviewed the medical expert Dave Bassi who works for GlaxoSmithKline  the logistical challenges that I have to face this week was finding out what time that he is free to have the interview as he is a very busy professional.


What technical challenges did you face this week and how did you overcome them?
The technical challenges that I have faced this week was when interviewing the medical expert, when recording the interview the lighting wasn't clear to see when recording the interview with Dave Bassi. I stumbled across some technical  challenges when importing my footage from the camera to the Imac and also transferring the demonstration exercise footage from the GO Pro Hero 3 camera.


What targets do you aim to achieve before your next entry?


My targets  to achieve before my next entry was to interview the vox pops by asking the general public on what they think about this respiratory disease. I will also transfer my Skype Video call that I recorded interviewing Professor Chris Griths onto the Imac to edit this part of the footage onto Final Cut Express.
