Good And Bad News report

Good News Report
In this two videos I had to include conventions which are being used in a news studio readers. For instance the news journalist and the presenter one of the conventions that has been correct is when  the presenter was dressed in smart clothes thought out the video of the news conventions news report. Also another good convention is that it is framing to get the full view of the presenter so the viewers can see them clearly. The choice of the presenter knows what he is talking about and he is going into more detail   about the topic of the news report this will make the viewers know that the presenter know what he is talking about. Also the presenter did not have to ask anyone what was the main news. The body language of the news report's the posture was good and the presenter was concentrating also the presenter is shown sitting serious presenting the news story. The choice of the presenter is aged 18 or over and the gender of the presenter is a male and he is talking clearly about the story to the viewers. Mode of address to the viewers another convention that is being portrayed in a news studio. The tone of voice of the anchor was very serious because he is discussing a serious event to the viewers that has occurred. He was being direct to the viewers also the tone of the news reporter was very professional as he spoke directly to the viewers throughout the whole news report. This news report also includes the language of the news reporter the vocabulary of the presenter was good for the viewers to understand. Another convention that is being used is the news presenter eye contact he was always looking at the camera at all times to make a point across to the viewers about the story. Interviewing  expert and witness a convention that is being portrayed in this news report is the camera technique, the presenter was looking at a specific camera to provide the viewers with the main story of the news. By interviewing a victim of a story that has occurred, the interview was set in a corridor this is indicating to the viewers more information about the victim. The victim was robbed at a local train station in chadwell heath.This news report also includes graphics of the victim by providing the name to the viewers and to providing information what the victim had said and what had occurred. The last convention that is being portrayed is report structure and this is including graphics to the viewers and provides a music theme at the start. And also graphics is being used for the news of the presenter and the victim of the story to the viewers. The location of the presenter was filmed in a office and the interviewee victim was filmed in a corridor to indicate to the viewers on what has happened.

Bad News Report

The bad convention of the studio news readers the framing wasn't good and also the choice of the presenter was not highly classed and the appearance. At the start of the news reporter was not paying attention to the viewers while he was on his phone and he didn't care that he was filming live. The body language was not good because the news reporter was not sitting professionally throughout the whole of the news report and he was not up right. The bad convention of the mode of address that is being used is the tone of the voice of the presenter was not serious enough to make a point to the viewers. For instance at the presenter was talking slang and this would not make this news report serious to the viewers to watch. Also the tone was not good enough because the presenter was not being serious about this news story event. And also the language wasn't really good it sounded like the news reporter did not want to talk about the the news report topic for the viewers. This makes them feel that they do not have time to watch a presenter who isn't good at presenting the news story. The news reporter did'not look straight into the camera to discuss the topic to the viewers that are watching him. The bad convention that happened for interviewing expert and witness is the camera technique the presenter wasn't looking at a specific camera to introduce the story. The location was filmed in a corridor but this didn't indicate to the viewers on where the event of the story occurred. The statues of of the interviewee was a victim that has been robbed at a local train station in chadwell heath. Also this news report didn't provide the viewers with the name of the victim that has been robbed. At the start of the news report it did' not include graphics such as the archive footage of the opening of the news , and the presenters name and the victim name to the viewers would'not watch his because they don't know if this news report is not real or made up. The location was set in a office.
