production log 4

What progress did you make since your previous entry?
Since my Previous log entry from me editing my footage on Final Cut Express on the IMac and using Live Type for the names of the people that I have interviewed this production log I started to edit my Skype video call interview which I interviewed professor Chris Griffiths of Barts university on how does asthma affect people daily and also how does this respiratory disease effects women that have asthma which are pregnant.

What logistical challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
The logistical challenges that I have face in this production log entry was editing the Skype video call interview because this interview with professor Griffths provided me with a lot of information about how women that suffer from this respiratory disease and also pregnant how does this effect the new born baby and also how does this respiratory disease effect asthmatics daily. The logistical challenges was to find the key section of the interview that I needed for my documentary and I overcame this by finding the section of footage that I needed.

What technical challenge did you face this week and how did you overcome them?
This week the technical challenges that I have faced was importing the footage of the Skype video call interview with Profffesor Griffths onto Final Cut Express this software program didn't allow me to import the Skype video call. I didn't know what to do so I imported the recorded Skype video call onto IMovie then started to edit the video but the main technical section was editing the interview because it was 20 minutes log but the interview has to be 45seconds so I cut this down. I overcame this by after editing the footage on Imove I imported this interview on Final Cut Express and this worked.

What target do you aim to achieve before your next entry?
My target that I aim to achieve before my next production log entry is to do more Vox pops by traveling to different locations around London and asking  general public what they think about this respiratory disease.
